GOD does not live on Mt. Sinai. He decended to the Mt when He wanted to converse with Moses. He choose a remote place b/c He deemed only Moses to be worthy of meeting Him.
the gods of Mt. Olympus supposedly lived on the Mt and we know that isnt true b/c we've been there, and it's empty.
you know what tho, that was a good question.

Obviously, the ones of Mt. Olympus... They are at least more human like, having quarrels and wars (the Gods fought the Titans and won) and each one being in control of some function or another (Neptune, Athena, Aphrodite, Prometheus, Sisyphus, etc.)
That other God is just all these singular Gods wrapped up into one not-so-well-packaged lie.

Both are myth. Only one was evil enough to sacrifice his own son though. So I enjoy the Olympus myth more.
