A Hell House is usually put on by a church and is laid out like a haunted house except it depicts different scenes of hell or how a person would wind up going to hell.

So if you have been through one, what did you think of it? Did you feel decieved? Did it make you rethink your spirituality?

*The first one I went through, my husband and I thought it was a haunted house and were really stunned. I am a Christian and I can't really say if it's right or wrong. I do think if your going to put one on that you should definitely show both sides of the story by depicting Heaven at the end and proceeding to tell others how to get to Heaven.

My church doesn't do a Hell House but a tour of Paradise. They do show Hell but only to show you about Hell but then proceed to tell you about Heaven and how to get there. It's not as scary as a Hell House and is ALWAYS advertised as a tour of Paradise.
And they have had people come to the Lord because of it.

OMG I totally did!!! It made me want to hit people- they had a girl getting an abortion and going to hell and boys holding hands and going to hell I thought it was the most horrid thing I've ever seen. It makes me sick that people in this day and age would do something like that and people who know what it is would pay for it

I've never been through one, and quite honestly, I dont think anyone should go through one. We all know the atrocities we face, as people, daily, and I dont think we need such a gruesome reminder.

The church that puts one on in my area, are very graphic, and will let, and encourage children to come. I find that very wrong to do.

I tend to do my research before I do or buy anything, so I'm not fooled by such things and I find them offensive. Sanctioned hate and arrogance... not nice at all...

I got forced to go to one by one of my friends in high school. I thought it was positively ridiculous.
