Brittney is a young girl who had too much fame too fast and never had a truly normal life. The "glories and physical rewards" of fame are more than she can handle. She is a very sick young woman who is in need to good health care, whether its inpatient, day treatment, outpatient or whatever. Until she gets that care she is going to continue to harm herself.

most of us have never been a public icon. we have never gone through the majority of our life being harrased and not having one moment where the public didn't know what you were doing and when.
thinking of it this way, what would you do?
Some people turn to drugs or suicide. She just is having a breakdown.
and she can't even do that in private.

She's made some bad choices and needs help. Nevertheless, she has placed her children is much danger. Anyone else and they would be having a visit from child services. She needs to be monitored.

I have never seen someone cry for help as loud as she does. She is a pitiful young woman. She needs her family to help her now.

I would say neither. She's just one of a long list of young stars who gained fame too early, and was psychologically unequipped to handle it.
