There shouldn't be a contest for that. A LOT of poeple have unique and original tattoos. Only thing that matters is if the work is good and the person is happy.

There are lots of unique/original tattoos here....I'm not sure if one can be said to be better than another. I happen to think that Kristina's tattoo is very unique. Deda has the "hottest" butterfly tattoo I've very seen....very unusual. Trinity has a back piece that was designed by her and I think it is very unique. My daughter (somebody) has a foot tattoo with a takeout box and fortune cookie that I have never seen the likes of anywhere else. Blair, Christy, Etrigone (if he ever gets it finished), bansheefay (her wolf prints feet tattoo), BroKe (and her doll sleeve), angie, tatts, Holly........the list goes on and on......each of these people (and I have seen pics of most of these peoples tattoos) have unique or unusual tattoos..... There is no way I could say one was better or more unique than another.......

Aww thanks Rider!! My mom and my artist would be proud since they're the ones that designed it. I think that everyone has a unique tattoo in their own sense. Different people get different tattoos for different reasons.

I have a side portrait of my daughter and her Chinese name (real chinese name) is getting added in 2 days!! augh! Anyways, it was little personal tribute to the birth of my daughter and to her lil self.

I haven't seen my particular piece elsewhere, but I've seen elements of it. I'm of the opinion that if you break down a piece it doesn't take long to find identical elements elsewhere; it's the combination, plus the artist's style, that makes it unique.

Rider: Foo on you! Torturing the ink deprived, for shame. Barring getting hit by another truck, mine should be done after another 4-5 visits. I should be able to get them all done before summer... hopefully, anyhow. I'm just a slacker & haven't updated my pics with recent progress.

first off - thanks rider for the nod - I love my butterflies...I know...tons of girls have butterflies...but these are all mine. What makes a tatt unique is not just the ink, but the body its on, the story behind it, and the person who owns it. Even if someone was to print my pic up and tell there artist...I want that...it would be different. So I again agree with Rider...I have seen lots of great art on this site..and I could not pick one over the other...

Riders ink is pretty cool too...

Anyone who posts their tattoo on the internet should be aware that it won't stay unique for long!

All these people....they got hearts, names, butterflies, tasmanian devils, flowers. Anybody out there wanna try anything new??
I have the Pillsbury Doughboy on my left bicep. The evil doughboy, with horns and fangs. Says "killsbury" in his hat and that finger that pokes him all the time......he's chopping it in half.
Original enough?
