Well I haven't been to a prom in ... let's see.... 44 years. You dress up.. formal in a fancy dress, heals, hair done, makeup.. Almost like for your wedding, but no white dress. He wears a tux. Sometimes you go to dinner first, depends on the custom at your school. Some, now days, go out after with other couples.. (Some do.... what they shouldn't...) Basically it is a very formal dance.

PS. Oops... Is the old lady missing something here? Are we talking about a R&S prom? Well.. I need a date.. and the only think that 'puts out' is my back. Hey Father K, are you busy that night?

First I heard of it. I think chaperone is also a good role for me. I am way too old for a prom. I'll be monitoring the fun in YDoncha's room.

Screw the prom - I cant dance anyway. Ive gotten a room at a nearby hotel - we can go there and party, then practice our mattress dancing...

Any takers?

Dress nice, don't eat too much. Beware the octopi after the dance.
