Yes, some do it for themselves too though... it makes them feel more confident and sexy, and competition for other females for "who looks the best."
I personally find tight clothes more comfortable. :)

I am not so sure that statement is entirely true. Our male society has valued the look of our female society. This in turn has led to women dressing in a manner that makes them look attractive to men.
Is this always for nonplatonic attention? No and it would not make sense to assume that is true. Married women dress in stylish tight clothes and wear makeup to look good for themselves and their husbands.
Most of us want to look our best and for women the standard has become tighter clothing and makeup.
Hairstyles are dependent upon the person. Hair is still quite a free for all. Not every woman picks the style that makes her look best and some pick styles that make them look particularly sexy. Either way, hairstyles again are not done entirely to attract nonplatonic attention.
This assumption is the same one that was used to justify blaming a woman in a miniskirt for being raped. Women are raped whether they are wearing a miniskirt or jeans. Rape is not about how a woman looks, it is about control.

No it's not true - women wear tight clothes to try and attract men - they succeed but the type of men they attract are the "catch and release" men. As for a lot of make up - that's a bad idea for all women for any reason.

yes, this is very true. girls know that if they wear tight clothes then guys will look at them and most girls feel that they look better with make up so they tend to over do it a little bit. girls like this attention from guys

I think it's just so they feel good about themselves, wearing tight clothing shows confidence in yourself and your body, however guys see tight clothing and associate this only with being a ho, trying to get attention.As far as makeup what's wrong with that a girl is supposed to be a girl, guys today have it totally twisted about females.

Most girls do that because they think if they look like a scank
that they will get the man they want in a relationship with them bye getting his attention, and showing him how adult and or self assured they are. But what they don't realize is that there not getting the relationship attention there getting the

about 80 % true. girls your age are usually doing this.for sexual attention. look for the one who wears makeup quietly . no blues reds or oranges . a down to earth glow is fine. but it will help you to sort out the trash wont it?

yes 90% girls do like that so that boy can be atracted towards their looks , figure and all .they do all these act when they want attention and when they like someone .
