What is with the due crap. You have a report to write for a religious class.
Different world beliefs and different Christian denomination have different agenda's for global mission. The United Methodist Church's global mission is to provide a decent standard of life to all, though feeding the hungry, bringing them medical care, and providing education. They also aid to build or rebuild destroyed homes and have an immediate response team that goes to any global disaster...and yeah...they beat the government there. No person is ever asked about their world beliefs in order to receive care from my church.
