If you have very fair skin, there is a good chance that this is something called "Rosacea". This tends to cause flushing in the face with alcohol, or in response to hot liquids.

The answer is NOT to drink alcohol. If you persist, you may develop numerous acne type pimples and sometimes changes in the appearance of the nose.

I suggest you make an appointment to speak with a clinician about your problem and they may be able to give you a more definitive diagnosis.

Go to a dermatologist and see if you have rosacea. I thought my drinking also was the cause of a red bumpy face but I have rosacea. Other things can make your face do that with rosacea is caffine, spices and hot foods. Anything that makes your face flush. There is a cream you can get for it. A lot of people thought W.C. Fields' face was the way it was due to his drinking but my dermatologist said it was because he had resacea also. Find out if you do have it because over years it is harder to treat. Good luck!

Ive had this happen quite a few times. What seems to have helped me is making sure I eat before I drink, especially starchy things.

it happens to some people, and usually the fairer skinned, the more likely. i would try to see if you can figure out which alcohol causes this to happen the worst...other than that i don't think there is much you can do sorry.
