Help please?

I was thinking of doing something sweet for my boyfriend, and I was thinking of takeing a photo of his new pit bull puppy , called buddy, and makeing the photo into a stand out cut out , or a huge photo to hang on his wall , how do I do that with a digiel camera

There are several places to get large pictures or cut outs. Get the best pic of the dog you can and go to a place like ritz camera, kinkos, and most places that develop film or do advertising will make what your looking for. The cost depends on size and whether its a cut out or just a large print. I know ritz does 8x10s for around 4-5dollars and 24x36 is around $40 with several sizes in between.and large cut outs will be more expensive. You can visit the websites and find the cheapest for what you want.

Take the photo-which you can do on your digital camera yes. Then go to someplace like Kinkos or another printing place and they will help you. I am not sure how much it would cost but probably no more then $40-50 depending on how big you actually want it and what type of material you want it on.

Take a couple pictures of the dog. Pick the one you like best and take your camera into Walmart. They can make a poster for you of a picture you took. I think it takes a day, and if you ask them, they will help you. You will need to give them your memory card and make sure you tell them what picture. I think it costs around $10 only.

You might want to check out one of the on-line photo retailers. Mpix, Shutterfly, etc etc.
Staples makes nice foam mounted posters in house at a reasonable price. My out lab has discontinued cut outs of any size, but some places are still producing them.
