It can be hard if you are LOOKING for a relationship! If you stop trying to find a guy , thats when it will happen! And in the meantime, spend your time trying to make yourself a secure happy person who is self sufficient and confident. That way you wont be "needy" and attract a guy who will take advantage of that. Also try to not be closed to someone who doesnt fit into your "type" because you could be missing the opportunity to date someone great! Trust me...a guy who is nice and respectful and good to you is so much more valuable than a guy who is the hottest or the captain of the football team! Go for depth ,not looks, and hey if you happen to find both ,YAY! (you'd be surprised how someone you didn't think was all that cute at first can become the cutest as you get to know them) And of course everyone knows...the boys love to play with the "EASY" girls, but they talk bad about them behind their backs & they don't wanna marry them! SO stop looking, work on yourself, demand respect, and BAM ! It's always when you aren't looking! It took me till I was 39 to find who I am going to marry this year ( its first marriage for both of us!) and I fell in love with him not long after I had decided to stay single for good cuz of bad relationships. I kept guys away from my heart so I wouldn't get hurt again but I let my guard down around this guy cuz he wasn't "my type" being a blonde, skinny, long haired 27 year old that resembles kid rock! And thank god I did(and it WAS scary...) cuz I have never been happier or treated so good! Good luck! YES THERE ARE SOME GOOD ONES OUT THERE!!!

No,that's not true.. I found one and although it may of took years of looking and holding on to hope without no real ideal of what was going to happen,I did find someone who does indeed care and love me as if we were still in high school, everyday. Good things come to those who wait!!!

That is definitely true. Guys nowadays only care about people they can screw. They don't care about the girls they're with at all, especially since most of them guilt the girls into doing it in the first place.

only if you dont care about yourself. it's like dr phil says, you teach people how to treat you, especially by the way you treat yourself. if you dont love, respect and care for yourself then why should anybody else. once you start taking care of you and stop looking for a guy to come along and do it for you is most likely when you'll find a guy who not only cares for you, but wants the both of you to take care of each other.

I certainly don't believe that to be true. If it were the case marriage would be almost unheard of. Think of how many couples out there who are married. I too believed that at one time, it just takes patience and the willing to believe that IT WILL happen. Someday. Goodluck.

I don't know... It can't be any harder than finding a girl who actually cares about me.
And I disagree with Chambero. Not all guys are like that.

It IS hard. Love isn't the way it used to be and guys don't view us women the same. That's why it's best to be very cautious nowadays.

It depends on where you're looking, and what image you're giving to guys.
if you're hanging out at bars & dressing in skimpy clothing you're not going to give the impression that you're looking for a guy that cares about you.
