Question about MS Outlook 2000 alert pop ups?

When you get an email you can set a flag for follow up on it (Action>flag for follow up) where you can set the date and time when it is due by.... what is supposed to happen is that an alert or reminder pops up when it is due ....but they aren't popping up.

Does anyone know if there is a setting? Or how to fix?

Hi! Thanks for your answer...but that's actually the problem...you can set the reminder...but it's NOT reminding.

Right click the "flag" you check and then hit "add reminder" you can flag it with whatever color you want and also have it send you a reminder.
