Black Labrador Retrievers are the most common, statistically. Yellow would be a close second, and Chocolate would be the least common.
I personally like the Chocolates best, by way of looks. However, they all seem to be equal in personability and intelligence. As long as you get your dog from a reputable breeder (www.akc.org), regardless of the color, it will be a good dog with good Lab traits.
Good luck!

Black is the most popular and chocolate (not brown) is the least. This is probably simply due to what has been common and the chocolate has not been seen as much. I prefer the more unusual so i prefer the chocolate over the other colors but owned two black lab crosses when i was younger.

Black is most registered according to AKC. Chocolate is harder to get and so then least owned. I dont know if Chocolates are more desired or not but they are the least numerous. Fox Red is NOT a recongnized color or normal lab color, and is a result of someone crossing Vizulas into the bloodlines some where.

as an owner of two labs(black and chocolate) i think it really depends on your preference.....my black lab loves to run and play with all the neighbor kids, were my brown dog really is a one master dog and stays by me ....my brown dog is a much better hunter than the black lab.....as for the least favorite color is a silver lab.....the chocolate labs father was a silver lab and is very rare......my brown lab has silver hair under his brown hair on his tail.....i have owned 7 labs in my life time and i really think they are the best dogs

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU7kF
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

From my opinion, yellow seems to be high on peoples list. I have 3. My female had 10 pups and they were all yellow. That was the first question they asked. Do you have any yellow??

Black are the most likely to end up in a shelter..or given away. People still seem to want to adopt them though.
