Of course you can use kids shampoo!!
It is milder than adult shampoo, so more gentle and that may be exactly what you are looking for....
On the other hand, with hormonal changes and stuff like that, teenagers often need full strength soaps.. because of the changes in your body, sweat glands, etc.,... but if it works for you, go for it.
Look for conditioning shampoos and a good leave-in conditioner (I got a Matrix spray leave-in conditioner for dry hair even though I usually use inexpensive shampoo and conditioners) that will help with the dryness.
Good luck!

Just so everybody knows, in case of shampoos, there isn't anything specific for a certain age range or gender. it's all about marketing, backed with fragrance. Anyone can use any shampoo off the shelf. Such classifications are only used for marketing studies and statistics so that companies know the future quantities to produce and sell of a certain shampoo.

Baby shampoo is recommended for adults to use as a cleaner shampoo to detoxify the hair.

Yes, you can use shampoo marketed for children. Your hair may be too dry because you strip it of its naturals oils if you wash your hair too often. Use a moisturizer as well as a shampoo.

Absolutely, kid's shampoo really just prevents burnt eyes if you get the shampoo in them

I do and I am 58 with coloured hair.

But to condition I use Dove and then after it is dry I comb a few drops of almond oil through the ends.

It doesn't matter what kind of Shampoo you use as long as it cleans your hair.

Of course. as long as you don't go over to dog shampoo I can't see the harm, it is no shame.
