Since you are asking about weight lose for a child this is something best discussed with her pediatrician. Have her eat less saturated fats and junk food and have her eat more fruits, veggies, chicken, and fish. Taking away soda's will also help. As for exercise, take her to the park to play. Any kind of physical activity done daily will be good for her. Just make sure it's fun.

Get your daughter involved in something she enjoys to do. Possibly swimming, burns a lot of caolories and if she thinks you are sending her to the YMCA for socializing (not to lose weight) and she enjoys it, all the better. Keep her active, take walks with her, park your car the furthest you can from the stores entrances-tell her you need the exercise. Eliminate sodas and kool aids altogether (huge contributor to fat calories), don't eat fast foods, this too will be helpful. Give her compliments and a lot of them. Good luck to her!

How tall is she?

My son is 10, he weighs 90. He could probably be a little more active, but he's not radically off.

Who says she needs to lost weight?

And she shouldn't do any 'exercises', but simply be active in more stuff.
