Hi
Recently I purchased an airline tickets with my credit card on-line from the USA. The travel agency didn't deliver what I purchased so they promised to refund the tickets. They told me that the refund will appear in my credit card up to 6 weeks. Could anyone tell me why it takes so long?

It doesn't. Call the travel agency and ask why it takes 6 weeks. They are probably holding those funds for their next accounting cycle.

Call you credit card company and ask if a credit has been issued. Because of the way their system works it could take up to the time they told you. You can verify this with your card company.

I would call my credit card company and tell them i am in a dispute with the travel agent and they will work on your behalf to help you resolve this quicker. I done this with hotel resv. and when i canceled that gave me the run around, but not my master card people.
