If you have a DVD burner it should have come with software... and failing that XP has built-in software that may do what you want.

Failing that...

Run Linux instead of Windows... you can get what you want in Linux and it's free.

ripit4me is the best freeware out there. just take a look at the site: http://www.ripit4me.org/
heres a little c/p: Recently released DVDs are now very often equipped with stronger copy protections - such as ARccOS™ and RipGuard DVD. Programs like DVD Shrink or DVD Decrypter cannot handle these types of discs.

the two that i exploit are emule and Azureus. Emule helps you to seek for stuff and is undemanding to apply however the downloads can sometimes be slightly sluggish. This makes it suited for track and pictures yet not so solid for video clips. Azureus is a bittorrent shopper and is plenty swifter yet you will possibly desire to seek for bittorrent hyperlinks from web content that could exchange a lot. on the 2nd I easily tend to apply TorrentSpy or IsoHunt. do not use bearshare or kazaa! They the two come loaded with secret agent ware and malware.
