You are a normal weight NOW.

That type of diet would be a VERY BAD IDEA. It would starve you of nutrients your body needs to function properly.

I suspect that your problem isn't your weight, but rather your self-image. This may not be the answer you were looking for, but it's the truth.

Actually you will probably GAIN weight doing that because your body will go into "starvation" mode and start slowing down its processes to keep the calories in your body for as long as possibe so you don't starve. In addition, you may get cellulite because your body will start eating away your muscle tissue as a "substitute" for calories.

First of all, at 5'2 and 125 you probably don't need to lose any wieght. However, if you insist on losing it, you should set a weight-loss goal, cut whatever extra calories you can out of your diet (BUT DO NOT GO BELOW THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF CALORIES YOUR BODY NEEDS TO FUNCTION), eat a balanced diet, and of course, exercise for 30-60 minutes as many days of the week as possible. If you do cardio work (running, stationary bike, etc.), you will burn calories, if you lift weights you will increase muscle mass and burn body fat, and if you do flexibility exercises like yoga or Pilates, you will tone. An ideal workout comes all three of these elements.

Good luck!

You might lose a pound for the first day or so but this funny thing will happen, your body will understand that you are starving it so it will go into famine mode and store everything it can...this effectively causes you to gain weight...

Bottom line is you have to eat...at least 4 small meals...drink lots of water so that your body will think it is in feast mode, then any excess fat stores are released...

Without knowing your BMI or BF%...I would guess that you are very close to good weight.

Whatever you decide to do, leave the sodas out...doesn't matter if they are diet with zero carbs...it is a processed drink and not good for you. Drink green tea instead but do not substitute it for water...

Not as much weight as you would if you ate three or six small meals a day. You can't starve yourself thin, or rather, you can't starve yourself thin for very long. The weight will come back when you start eating again. Meanwhile, you will become unhealthy from malnutrition.

Cut the number of calories you need by 500 a day. You can do that by eating less, and exercising more.

You will not lose a pound. You will gain. Your body will think that it is starving so it will hold onto everything that you give it. Eating 5 or 6 small meals a day will help you lose because your body will know that its going to eat so it wont store as much. your only 125. Maybe you should not diet! just exercise to tone up what you have.

Believe it or not most nutritionists would say that your idea is counter productive. To restrict your diet that much (besides the possible health risks) would force your metabolism to slow down (to protect itself). Skip the diet coke (it has sodium) and eat and drink more frequently (it turns up your metabolism) and consider a light work out that gets your heart rate up and sustained for at least 15-20 minutes 3 to 4 days a week.

Why would you do that to your body, It's the only one you get!

First of all i would like to tell you that there is a certain number of calories which a normal human being have in a day . it depends on person to person . First you have to know how much of calories your body needs. then you have to make sure that you dont come below a limit which is safe . Then plan your diet according to it .
One more important thing is that you have to have certain amount of vitamins , minerals , protiens , carbhohydrates and those stuff . You cant compromise on them . so beware ...

it doesnot matter if you drink diet coke or not . wat matters is the calories . So all the best , keep it safe .

Your body will start to store fat because you are starving it. Best thing to do is eat smaller portions throughout the day, make sure u are getting the food and nutrients that you need and exercise.
