I don't understand... Why would it be wrong? Why would you date if you weren't ready?

there is nothing wrong with a 17 year old to just start dating. My husband didnt start really dating until he was 18 and that was with me and now we have been married for almost 5 years. I think these days you should be careful about who you choose to date. Guys these days are jerks and you want to make sure you find the right one. (like me)

No! I'm 17 and i've hardly dated. It's not that I can't get a boyfriend or whatever, it's just that nothing is ever really serious when you're younger than 17 or 18. And if you're like me, you're looking for a guy that's serious and not just looking for a good time.

i don't think so because my finance is 17 and i love her with all my heart and i love her more than life itself just make sure they are comfortable around their mate

no!!! you must have strong morals or your parents do. morals don't change with time. they were the same in the 1900's. there are good girls and there are trash. more young people should follow your lead.
