Most of the time he talks about himself, his past, his problems, his exes. I get to ask most of the questions. He hardly asks me anything. But I know he is not so self-centered. So, is he just shy or plainly selfish? How can I figure it out?

he wants you to like him and by telling you what went worng before hes tellling you that he likes you and if he dates you that he doesn't want it to go wrong like before

He's probaly just a little shy which isn't too surprising since I know a lot of guys like that. Just talk to him about it and tell him that it's ok to ask a few questions him self.

no...guys just don't wanna look obsessed. They think that when they ask you questions they wanna know everything about you...which could make them look gay. They dont have much 2 say. But they know themselves a lot so they like to share things. But otherwise thats the best theory i can come up with ....good luck and best wishes

yeah...a shy guy IS goin to ask plenty of questions to not have to answer any...not al the time but sometimes...but this guy sounds like he just wants to hear himself talk and not learn a thing about you...thats is very telling young lady!

he is most likely shy and does not know that he is rambling.you can figure it out when he keeps talking and you cannot get a word in.after couple more dates i am sure he will be more comfortable with you.

sounds to me like he is self centered but humble about it...i know guys like that....BAD news. you dont want to be in a relationship with a guy thats not fun to be around. he's probly looking for someone to comfort him. Dont you want to be in a relationship where your happy? i dont want to be in a relationship just to hear them sulk.
