She is really closed up about herself, and I gave up on trying to infiltrate her a LONG time ago after some not-so-positive results. I don't know why but she is stuck in the present. I know, "What's wrong with that?" I'll tell you. If I even suggest the future, even a few days out (like, let's go here on Sat. night) she gets weird. Typical response: "I'll think about it" even though I have learned that there is a 98% chance she will go, but still. After dating her for just short of a year, and things are going great, I want to at least entertain the idea of a future with her in it. Anyone else see the problem I have here? I know it may sound trivial, but it is ridiculous! She lives only in the moment. And I can't help but wonder sometimes what she thinks when I'm not around, but that's a whole other question. Any advice (assuming this makes sense)?

stop second guessing her thoughts... shes nuts..lol... (teasin) shes not committed to you or anyone.... not a good person to even THINK of spending ur life with.... she needs therapy....something in her past that she cant get over.... there are plenty of women out there that would love to hear a guy talk about next week a month or a year from now... shes just not the right one for you... she needs a guy that are good for a one night stand.... u seem like a guy that has a big heart and likes to share it with others and shes just not the one...im sure u will have no problems finding one that shares the same thing in life as u....

Well if she lives only in the present then I see no serious problem, really, provided that you can help her to use the present for the future. Thats where you shouold start with her.

All the best!/
