I have a day care in my home and I charge $125 a week. That includes 50 hours of child care, meals and snacks, eating utensils, and bedding materials. This is the fee the parents must pay every Monday, as agreed upon in the contracts we sign together, regardless of whether or not their child is in attendance. Those are two things I feel very strongly about, contracts that everyone must sign so the parents understand your policies, and a flat rate for weekly fees regardless of attendance. It protects you from parents who decide they just don't want to pay for childcare.

most people in general charge about 80 dollars a week no matter how old. if you are afraid of getting stuck watching a child for 12 hours a day make a rule saying that you will only watch their child 10 hours a day 9 hour day gives them 30 minutes to get to work and 30 minutes to come and get them and $1 a minute after 5 minutes of them being late or come to agreement with each indivdual parent

If you are out to just make a little money, then $100 a week is fair. However, you need to make sure your not stuck watching other peoples kids for 12 hours a day. So, I would specify what time they need to pick up their kids by, and then charge extra if they are late. Also, if you do it on the weekends, you should charge extra.
Get the oney up front, my gf did this and she had people not pay her, so she stopped. Which upset the people because they had to find a replacement in a hurry, but that is on them for trying to screw her over.

maximum childcare centers will supply reductions on extra toddlers. One could be finished value (oftentimes the youngest), and the others could be at a 10-20% decrease value. I under no circumstances plenty regarded at what a baby care value - I continuously regarded for different issues that meant extra to me. Is the area clean, risk-free places for the youngsters to play, does the caregiver have set activities for the duration of the day or is the television going to be on...I additionally verify their criminal background. i won't be able to take my toddlers to an at-abode babysitter who isn't approved via the state, has the television on, and/or has risky places for toddlers (messy storage - i actually met with a babysitter who had cables working down the downstairs wall that went to her television!). I additionally won't meet with a babysitter if she has a criminal checklist, or refuses to grant me the innovations to discover it. I additionally won't meet with a babysitter who has not had CPR education - as on account that injuries can continuously take place, it could take quite a couple of minutes for an ambulance to return and those quite a couple of minutes mean existence or dying. So, in case you should be a solid babysitter, and have the failings careful parents look for waiting - then I propose which you get a value sheet out of your close by day care middle, and value under they do.
