Sure why wouldn't they? I'm 23 and my husband is a little bit older. Not old enought to be my father but older. The thing is you have to find a man that s willing to except you and your baby/child. That should always come up in one of your first conversations, you dont want a man that will only love you and not love your child.

It depends on the guy. Mine was even a little younger than me and stepped in married me and raised my kids.
Some ran away.. not that they are wrong or badl.. it is a huge commitment to take on the responsibility of raising or being a close role model to someone else's child. It is also a financial responsibility.
Good luck to you.. there are good men out there willing to give it a shot. I say keep the kids away from the boyfriends though until you know it is getting a little serious, I'm sure it can be confusing to a small child. Always be honest about having a child though.

I was a divorced, single mom of 2 when I met someone that fell in love with me and accepted the fact that I had children from a previous relationship and he definitely isn't old enough to be my father, he's 7 years younger than I am (he was 21 when we met and I was 28). Three years later we have a child of our own and we're a very happy family.

Sure. Kids just complicate things. Most young men are not looking for a family, families just "happen". They are looking for a companion, fun and sex. Kids are not an easy add for most and some other guys kid is never an easy responcibility. Best bet is to find a guy in a simular situation. Most likely a guy willing to take on you and a kid will be older and established.
There are groups like Parents without Partners that specilize in hooking up people just like you with like minded folks.
Good luck.

Of course they do. If a guy doesn't mind your child you should pick up on that pretty quick. As far as being young. It all depends on maturity. Ive met teenagers who are years beyond some 40'ish people I know maturity wise. But yea. A young single mother can be a good find. Especially if she is looking for something long term which most older guys are. Or at least I am lol.

Of course, it's all about the person. If a a guy falls in love with you, he will be interested in all parts of you....your likes, dislikes, taste in music, whatever...and your family, which in your case, includes a child. Just be up front and honest with him from the beginning so that it isn't this huge surprise. And if he has any tiny little bit of a problem with your child, or the fact that you have a child, then he isn't worth your time and you are better of without him anyway.

I do for some reason. Im 25 and here in Ireland there seem to be very few girls over the age of 19 who dont have kids. Any girls I go out with all seem to have at least one kid. If I settle down with a girl my own age or nearly my own age I would prefer if she didnt have any kids but if she did then I could live with that

Men do fall in love with young single mothers! Be patient , don't try too hard and what is meant to be will happen. I was 30 with one child when I met my husband. Focus on your child and yourself right now and let the magic find you :)

In general a man looks at a never married single mother as a easy score.
In simple words: He wants to play in the field, but not raise the crops.
