it is spring break, and me and my boyfriend had plans to hang out a couple days this week. but he canceled most of our plans because he said he wants to work to get more money. i haven't seen him for 3 days and last night was the first night i talked to him because he says he is tired after work. i would understand if he HAD to work, but there is a difference in WANTING to work. does he care more about work, and earning money, than me??

Damn, do you whine like this all the time? He's working, leave the man alone. Maybe you should get a job, you'd at least understand what it is like to work all day and not want to be bothered when you get home. So you have a problem with him having MORE money? What if he's working all these extra hours to buy something nice for you? I don't imagine you'll be doing much complaining then, would you? Just chill out and give the man some space. I swear, you young folks, always gotta be up eachother's asses all the time. Just wait, you'll learn to appreciate a little space.

No! He doesnt care about work more than you, he just wants to have extra money and it is something that you should understand!! My boyfriend has a full time 12 hour job and he gets a couple days off a month and those days off he always works!! I have just learnded to deal with it and understand that he likes to work and he wants and needs the extra money. But we live together so we see each other at night!!

No, maybe he wants to earn money to save up for a car or college, buy clothes, or even to take you out or buy you a gift? Be happy that your boyfriend is a hard worker and not lazy. I see this as a very positive thing. I know you miss him, but try getting a job yourself? I'm sure he will be proud of you too.
