Are you making this in a pot or in the cup? I usually use a teapot. Bags/s in first, boiling water on next. In the cup milk ?sugar then tea from pot after brewing for 2 or 3 minutes. If in a cup tea bag then water milk last. milk in first cools the water and impairs the brewing.

my gran made a lovely cuppa. Her solution was place two tea bags in the tea pot, boil kettle. Pour water straight onto tea bags, give a stir around. Leave to stand for a few minutes then pour into cups before milk. Think the real answer to it though was that you need to buy decent tea bags. Not cheap ones.

You take the tea bag, put it inside the cup. You boil some water. Pour it in the cup. Add milk. And sugar, if you want. I don't really think it would make a difference if you tried water-teabag!

IN A POT!!!

2 bags in a pot, boiling hot water onto the bags.
Pour into cups once brewed, add a splash of milk and sugar. Stir 7 times clockwise & 7 anti clockwise and tap 3 times on the side!

Its the only way!!!!
