I had my big toe nail ripped completly off in a basketball accident and it has started to grow back but it looks funny and it is growing really slow. Can anyone give me some advice on what I can take or put on it to make it grow back faster and healthy. I just want it to look like my other big toe and it just isn't looking good from here. Please help! I need my big toe nail back =)

my niece had a toe nail removed by a foot Dr. and it grew back very slowly (almost 1 year to fully come back) and as it was growing in it was all mangled looking. After it fully grew in it was normal looking, but it took a long time. Sorry!

Toenails take a long time to grow. If you eat healthy and get all your nutrients it will help a bit. Make sure you dont get an ingrown toenail because those can get infected and require surgery.
