One of my friends asked me to join them when they do this (magic ) and said whatever i want i will get but i'm not to sure wheter i should go or not i never knew she was into that stuff only found out yesterday makes me wonder how well do i know my friends

Earth magic is a form of "magic" used in witchcraft in one of the several pagan religions, the most common amoung young people being "Wicca".
Don't dabble in it.. don't try it unless you know what you're doing, otherwise you will get bitten in the ***.
Most people who are pagan do not come out and state it quite as often as Christians or Athiests. All your friends have secrets, so I wouldn't write her off just because she kept her religion hidden until now.
Also, most young people use paganism or witchcraft to be rebelious or to "get whatever they want", and it's not really how it's supposed to be... just like young Christians claim to be Christian, go to church on Sunday to "go to heaven" but follow no rules.
Stay friends if you want, but stay away from playing with fire unless you are willing to get burned... or unless you study the religion....

Earth magic is only a type of using the earth's energies to better your life. If your friend believes that you will get anything you want from doing any kind of magic, they are either deluding themselves or are just starting out in Wicca.
Wicca is neither Satanic or "evil." It is a Nature religion that many people feel comfortable belonging to as it is in tune with Nature and the changes of seasons.
There is nothing wrong with joining in, but it takes much learning, research, and working to make yourself a better person to really fully understand and be able to use Earth magic or any other type of Nature magic.
Wicca, for the serious practitioner, is a way of life, not just something to do for fun or to get things you want. It means becoming responsible in every way for your own life, your interactions with others and with the Earth. It takes much introspection and study.
No we are not deluded or have serious mental issues. Many people who practice Wicca/Paganism are very intelligent, responsible, well-balanced people from all walks of life, including doctors, lawyers, police, college professors, scientists, and the girl behind the counter at McDonald's. Most are very open-minded people who have an abundance of patience and give freely of their knowledge.
But, if I were you, I would check out what your friend is talking about, research it for yourself. If it makes you uncomfortable after you have learned about it, then do what makes you comfortable. But, don't listen to the nay-sayers. Do the research yourself and go with your gut feelings and keep an open mind.

If you're not completely comfortable with going, then don't go. Being afraid or unsure will hurt what they're working on.
Magic for modern practitioners is essentially praying with props.
Talk to your friend about what would go on. Don't fall for peer pressure, let them know how you feel about it, but don't be mean.

sounds like your friend needs more mentoring,for one witchcraft isn't exactly like that, you are not gaurranteed anything. its the belief that counts. two,we are taught not to let someone know we practice unless we know exactly how they will react. three, earth magic is dangerous because it is more herbal than spiritual, and some herbs are dangerous, definitly all of them if you don't know exactly how they will react to the human body. please show your friend this and let her know from me that magick isn't to be toyed with and certainly not to be treated lightly. let her know that i offer what knowledge i have.

anyone who practices magic or witchcraft and honestly beleives it will work has a serious mental disorder and if you care about your friends at all you'll beat them until the agree not to do it ever again.
