From my personal experience with that it is a matter of has he told you the truth now and do you have trust for him now? My boyfriend looked me in the eyes and Lied to me for 2 hours about something I new the truth about. He didnt tell me the truth until I showed him that I already new the truth. In my case we had children and well to put it nicely I took everything important away from him until he could learn that it was ok to tell me the truth no matter what. Now we are married. You have to be abel to trust the person you are with if you cant you will not ever have a true relationship. You just need to figure out if he is still lying to you or if he has now came clean and being honest with you? Everyone lies and acts a little different when they first meet someone cause they dont know how the person they met will react to the truth.

I know how you feel and then you in the end think weather the relationship was a lie also. Well did you confront him about the lies and what did he say... After you ask him take it from there. You can either accept what he has to say and move on or not and choose to leave the relationship. And yes it's hard to trust after you feel like you have been betrayed but it something that takes time to come back to you if you think those lies where really nothing important.

You should have his trust, or you can ruin a relationship with this. People lie to make the other party feel better about things. Remember this when talking to him... You've done it, i've done it, we've all done it. I say stick with him a little longer, find out the real him, i mean, do you see him every day? is he there for you all the time? does he love you a lot? then he wouldn't have anything to lie about if he does all of these things for you. People dont like talking about the past, but if you can put the past him aside, then you can get through this no problem, otherwise, if you can't please tell him you can't get it out of your mind.

i think is early enough in the relationship to gain that trust back, but depending on what he lied about most people lie when they have a first date or are not yet serious about them yet. Dont read too much into it just keep an eye out and make sure that he is not lying anymore, but i wouldnt read too much into it! Good luck and just start over

Neither do I. From my own experience, once a liar, always a liar. If he lied to you about that much, chances are he’ll lie to you again. But you love him, so you need to talk to him about it and make a deal with him. Tell him, perhaps, that if you catch him lying again than you’ll have to seriously consider your relationship with him. Also, because you can’t trust liars, you should tell him he’s lost your trust and will have to earn it back. At least, that’s what I would do. Give him the facts!

I couldn't live with that. If you stay with him you will always be challenged to decipher lies from the truth. Too much work if you ask me. Dump him before you get involved any deeper and go find yourself an honest guy. That would be my advice. Good luck.

First of all, 6 months is not a serious relationship. If you're finding out about the lying now then you can get out while it's still early.

Mm mmm...
Once a liar...ALWAYS A LIAR!!!
It's like in their blood they can't help but lie when they know it'll save their ***....
If he lied to you about something BIG and it hurt you real bad when you found out then just don't even bother with him. BUT if he just lied about what he's favorite color is or something small then he was just trying to impress you...
Good luck Hun!
