Yes, they are. I just have a problem with all those greens: collard greens, turnip greens, mustard greens. I can't get into them. But they are full of iron. However, so are plenty of other beans and veggies.

Yes, lots of vitamins. Greens will give you gas though. So stick with turnip greens and spinach, and stay away from mustard greens, because mustard gas is poisonous!

Turnip greens are very good for you. just make sure that you clean them first, they are typically grown in sandy areas, so if you don't wash them very well, you could wind up with a mouthful of sand.

Dark leafy greens are very good for you! Lots of iron, potassium, vitamins A, K, and C for starters. K is good for blood clotting and coagulation, if you're clumsy like me. :)
