Take the challenge and see for yourself.
Here is the challenge stated by Mormon the last prophet to write in the Book of Mormon. His challenge is:
"Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.
"And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the anme of Christ, i these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
"And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." Moroni 10:3-5
So are you up for the challenge? If so, and you would like a copy of the Book of Mormon email me.

You most likely will notice a consistent suggestion from us LDS members - find out for yourself! That's one thing I love about the gospel...it is personal, no one can "tell" you what is right and wrong except our Heavenly Father. If you truly want to know, ask. That's the only for sure way you will know for yourself. Others will says it is true and others will say it is of the devil. Whom can you trust? The Lord.
I know the church is true, the gospel is true and was restored to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith by the power of Almighty God.
I know because I have asked and received answers.

Because there can only be one. It is written in the scriptures, "One FAITH, one BAPTISM, and one GOD." There can only be one true faith, and if your church does not confirm this or believe themselves to be this church, then it is a false church and you need to search out the truth. There are very few churches that make this claim....but the true church or faith or Jesus Christ will make this claim. And you can take that to the bank!

Yes, and the Prophet HAS testified that Jesus is the Christ.
He does so, every time that he speaks. Why don't you find out for yourself. Read the Book of Mormon, and take the challenge in Moroni 10:3-5, or contact the missionaries in your area, or attend a service next sunday.

Mormons? Absolutely not. One of the major realistic arguements for that statement is that there is absolutely no atcheological or historical evidence that anything the book of Mormon says ever really happened! Compare that to the Bible which has been historically and archologically confirmed in thousand of instances.
Mormons are very nice people generally. They are very family oreinted and most of the time very good sales people because they are required by LDS to go door to door spreading Mormonism.
Mormons claim that the book of Mormon is more accurate than the Bible, but they claim to use the Bible too. The problem is that the Bible completely contradicts the book of Mormon.
LDS was started by Joseph Smith (bust more realistically Satan) who claimed to find some magic pair of reading glasses to read some mysterios book inscribed on solid gold pates (which nobody has ever seen). He translated the "scripture" that was written in "Revised Egyption". No such language has ever been proven to exist. After the discovery of the Rosetta Stone, historians could finally translate a lot more Egyptian writing accurately. Some actual inscriptions on stones and walls etc. that Joseph Smith said were writings by Moses and interpreted for everyone turned out to be not even close.
I would encourage you to do your research before confronting anyone from LDS. As a Christian, science, history, and archeology only confirm my faith. I find it really astonishing that anyone still believes these obvious lies by Joseph Smith.
You should always keep in mind that they use some of the same words as Christians, but they do not mean the same thing. LDS takes away the divinity of Christ. Think about it...if you were the Devil and you wanted to keep people from being saved, what better way to do it than to twist truth so that people miss the true meaning and never know about true salvation?

You can find out for yourself. There is no reason to take any ones word for it.
James 1:5-6
5. If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him.
6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering, for he that wavereth is like a wave upon the sea, driven and tossed.
Read the Book of Mormon...pre-read then re-read the introduction and Moroni 10:3-5.
Even though you must find this out on your own through sincere prayer, I would like to share my testimony that I know for my self through a lifetime of testing God's word and receiving the blessings He's promised. No earthly power can separate me from the knowledge that The Book of Mormon is the word of God along with the Bible as far as it is translated correctly.
I also bear testimony that I know the Savior of the world is Jesus Christ. Who suffered and bled and was crucified to prepare a way for me to return to God. I Know I am nothing without my redeemer. I testisfy to these things through the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ.

By the truth in our scriptures, and by the mouth of the true prophets of God, and by the personal testimony given by the Holy Ghost.
For those that do not believe will never understand this.

Any person can tell you "yes" or "no" and give you good reasons.
But really, the only source that can truly answer that question is God Himself.
It's a very personal process that requires lots of individual study and prayer
- and you have to really want to know (to the level of being 100% willing to act either way), because God is merciful enough to not make people responsible for knowledge they're not really ready to handle.
The choice to pursue the answer is yours - no one can make it for you.

lol. You came to a religion board to find out if people think a religion is true. You do understand that every single LDS is going to say its true while everyone else will say "its a load of crap" don't you?

Yes and No. simply because its what you believe if you believe its not true and your religion (if you have one) is true then its ture. Because everyone believes that they will be saved in the end if they stick to there faith. I myself am LDS and yes i belive its true doesnt mean that it is. Its just something for people to hold on to in this world to give them hope through there lifes, it makes them feel better knowing somethings on the other side.
