Trinidad has excellent power and an equally weak chin. Food for thought. Bentiez had sufficient power. Does anyone remember the Benitez/Hope fight? Wilfred landed the most beautiful straight right hand counter to the jaw of Hope that put him on ice, and won Benitez the Jr. Mid title. Trinidad is tailor made for Benitez, Tito has no head movement and boxed without keeping his chin tucked. The Bible of Boxing would have caught him with a big counter punch.

In my opinion, Benitez would need 6 rounds to dispose of Trinidad. Trinidads head movement is and pretty much has always been nonexistant. tito loads up with the big shots and sits there waiting for the results. In the fight in which Felix fought Oscar, he just followed Oscar around the ring like a lost puppy, granted Oscar had nothing in the tank and most likely would have been dropped if he stood there and traded with te heavy handed Trinidad.

Benitez had clever little moves that he would do that would drive a young hungry bull likle Trinidad nuts, the shoulder faint would work each and everytime Benitez tried it. Nobody in the game countered better than Wilfred Benitez off or on the ropes, he would catch a fighter with shots as the their fist were coming back from delivery. Tito is/ was slow and Bentez would capitalize on this early and often.

Both of these fighters were/ are filled with Puerto Rican pride and this two would play into the gloves of a very cool and calm Benitez. Toto would be way too "Macho" and make mistakes that Benitez would be just too happy to pick up on. Tito would stay in the box just a little to long after being hurt by Wilfreds counters and his pride would get the best of him. Referee stops this contest late in the 6th.

Harold Letterman would give Tito props for Effective Agressivness but everything else would belong to Benitez.

Thanks for the question Brother.

Blogbaba likes Tito in this one, even though Benitez has a slight speed and quickness advantage over Trinidad, the punching power of Trinidad would have forced Benitez to box. The exchanges would have left Benitez backing up and Tito threatening to walk through Benitez much like the DeLaHoya fight.

Felix Trinidad by decision.

Good question Brent! Benitez is one of the most naturally clever boxers I've ever seen. I saw him completely dominate and frustrate the great Duran and he also gave Sugar Ray Leonard all kinds of trouble with his great boxing ability. Trinidad is a determined fighter with a good punch but would be no match for the more skillful Benitez who I feel would box circles around him and frustrate him the whole fight. Benitez in a lopsided unanimous decision in this one sir.

Wow!!! Two of Puerto Rico's Greatest Champions. Both Very talented and Hall of Famers with many skills. That being said, I give the edge to Trinidad due to punching power and overall will. Benitez was one of the most skilled boxers ever but his problem would be that he knew his talent and did not have the will to work harder and get hungry. If Trinidad tried to slack off , his Father would slap him right back to reality.

I think Benitez wins on a good decision of unanimous verdict. His boxing ability would be too much for Trinidad.

I undergo in recommendations Benitez working around and pawing at Carlos Palomino and have been given a chop up determination in Puerto Rico. I undergo in recommendations Benitez attempting that comparable crap with Leonard and Leonard dealt with him incredibly plenty. Tito purely tried to handle heavier, improved combatants and it did not artwork out. If Tito allowed Benitez to bounce around him, Benitez might win via determination. yet while Tito ever caught him in a corner or decrease off the hoop effectively he'd knock Benitez into the subsequent section code. individually, i might prefer to work out Tito beat the crap out of that loud mouth pansy. impressive tournament-up although. large question.

In his time, Benitez was a brilliant boxer. He could hit some too. I respect Felix, but I think Benitez beats him every time.

AS GREAT A DEFENSIVE FIGHTER AS BENITEZ WAS THIS WOULD NOT BE AN EASY FIGHT FOR TITO. TITO WAS KO'ED ONCE, WILFRED 4 TIMES. I PICK TITO IN A 15 RD TKO.
