To me, angels are neither male nor female, nor have any feature that would relate them to the human form.

In my mind's eye, when I think of an angel, I tend to think of a large shimmering sphere that emanates a bright white light that cannot be seen, with glowing, golden tentacles or tendrils as its manipulatory system. In essence, it would be pure 'essence', pure creation in a contained form.

My view of angels is also that they would not necessarily have their own existence. If the task of one was finished, its essence would return to the source or merge with another angel or split into two lower ranked angels, so that it could perform to a new purpose.

When I visualize this concept, the emotional reaction is one of overwhelming duty and love, beings that exist to serve perfectly and love perfectly.

Yeash, how sad to see so many atheists pull out the whole, "It's not true so why should I care?" line.

'What if' people... it's the start of all knowledge. Without 'what if' you have nothing at all.

I'm an atheist and the fact so many atheists avoided the question saddens me beyond words. Where's the imagination, folks? Imagination is FAR more important than knowledge, as expressed by Albert Einstein and many others.

I am no athiest, but as revealed modern scripture so indicates, angels are those entities having once lived upon the earth and are now embodied or resurrected as the case may be, or are spiritual bodies in the form of angels not yet born on this earth.

Angels appear as any man or woman does now having no wings as has been propogated through the centuries because of their ability to move from place to place in an instant.

The traditional Christian belief is what the Bible says, that angels are sexless (they are not man or woman). I'm not sure about my faith in anything, so I really don't know. However, I'm happy to see that someone else has seen all the websites and stuff for the Flying Spaghetti Monster. That cracks me up every time I see it!

Cupid Stunt, that's too funny! lol Are airline pilots really whores?

Just because religious people have good imaginations for believing in make believe gods doesn't mean everyone else can't play imaginary games also!

As you know, angels fly but did you know they go feed and then return to their baby angels and reguritate their food so the babies can eat before they are old enough to fly? I bet you didn't know that.

I have an imagination, however, the way I would imagine angels isn't all that original. I just have the picture in my mind of the old church paintings. (Robes and wings.)

Angels look just like Hollywood and Middle Ages depiction: They are Caucasian, blue glowing eyes, have blond, kind of curly shoulder length hair, have huge white wings, and where a Cesar style robe draped across one shoulder with a gold rope around the waist and brown sandals.

Why would an Atheist even care? You already know what everyone thinks angels could look like. Watch a movie or tv for a while.

And please, if you ask Atheists what we think about something to do with the bible, you KNOW the answer you're going to get so why ask it? "Its all a load of crap".

Well, your grammar is certainly imaginative! The point is we have better things on which to spend our time imagining, instead of things that hold our culture back by perpetuating superstition.
