He won't get me into it.
Don't let the bush coward choose your battles.
My enemies are 'ignorance' and 'lies. Not 'Iran' nor 'Iraq.'

Sad how you have gotten a bunch of political opinions instead of answers.
The fact of the matter is that the US strategy against Iran is based on political, diplomatic and economic strangulation.
You do not hear about this because war scares get better ratings on the TV news (and do you think that the news media will ever publish anything that says President Bush is doing something right?).
And those people who are predicting that we will attack Iran in the next six months have been saying the same thing over and over again for the last 25 years.

No, because there's not enough time left for that. Plus, we don't want that war and Iran certainly doesn't want that war. And it would mean a draft, which won't happen. Plus, Hilary or Barack (the next president) wouldn't make war with Iran or North Korea.
The US is going to gain a lot of respect back once the Democrats take their rightful place in office in '08.

I have predicted for more than six months that Bush will illegally and unconstitutionally invade Iran, possibly as early as this spring. All his needs is for his people to come up with a plausible excuse that 'ditto head' conservatives will buy into ('weapons of mass destruction' won't work - again). And, Bush will attack Iran for the very same reason he attacked Iraq: fields of rich, cheap, easily-accessible OIL so he and his Exxon-Mobil buddies can get richer and richer and richer feeding America's petroleum addiction.
Bush is the worst president in American history; his father was perhaps the second worst president in this nation's history. They need to be "Bushwhacked!". -RKO-

It is almost certain we will attack Iran before Bush's term is over, or we may encourage the Israelis to do so.
It is doubtful we will invade--we lack the manpower. We have already lost in Iraq, and it is likely we will lose in Afghanistan just like the soviets did. Although the soviets lost because we assisted the Afghanis who later became the taliban. If we lose there it will be pretty much solely due to incompetence.

The plate is too full and I believe what is going on with Iran is posturing on both sides. Neither side wants a conflict, so they are using political means to save face and get what they want. In the end neither side will get exactly what they want.
