When they discovered Jesus' manger where he lay in swaddling clothes, church people came from all around the world to venerate the holy spot, they came by the bus-loads -- and still do. They even built a church over it, if I'm not mistaken.
Now that they've found his tomb, you'd think church people would be coming from all over. My understanding is that, so far not one bus-load of church people has come to worship at his tomb. Only a few Jews showed up, and even they didn't seemed greatly impressed.
Am I missing something here? Or does it just take time for these things to catch on? I've never been to the Holy Land, but could I get some insight from people who have?

It would blow their theory of Resurrection, so they will not believe it's actually Jesus. Because they think he's something else, and not a human.

You should understand something -- when it contradicts directly with faith, it will come under intense scientific and historic scrutiny before it becomes an accepted fact.
For instance, when general products are released, Consumer Reports tests those products to see if it is safe. This type of peer review was NOT done on the Lost Tomb of Jesus. Scholars weren't allowed to review it. Only one scholar, who was a paid consultant; hence, he is already biased towards it.
So nobody is making conclusions yet. But there's hope. A 'Consumer Reports' of the Lost Tomb of Jesus is being released soon. A new book called 'The Jesus Tomb: Is It Fact or Fiction? Scholars Chime In' [isbn: 0978834690] will be the deciding factor for many people whether this is the tomb of Jesus or not since so many scholars and scientists are looking at the data and they are sharing the information in this book to make a solid conclusion.

Remember, if this IS Jesus' tomb (extremely unlikely given the evidence), it would mean that Jesus was not a divine being but a regular old human being. According to the bible, Jesus should have no body because he ascended to heaven in front of hundreds of witnesses. So... that means that an extremely important part of the bible is now completely invalidated.
Christians CAN'T accept it because it means that thousands of years have been wasted on nothing and the Atheists have been right all along.
THAT is why the tomb has been ignored. Because evidence says otherwise, and because giving into that would invalidate thousands of years of Christian belief.
Its not that shocking. Its scared one heck of alot of Christians.

For one Jesus rose bodily there would be no bones left behind. Secondly, there is a church built over the tomb that He was placed in already. It is called the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, it is in Jerusalem, it has been there since 325 A.D.

The evidence for this being Jesus' tomb is not particularly compelling.
In addition, the idea of Jesus' remains being buried in a tomb could be considered to contradict the Bible.

Many believe it is not his tomb. If you want to look at it logically, it is in the middle of nowhere where Jesus wasn't put. Plus the movie thing is turning people off of it also.

Jesus is alive and He arose from the rich man's tomb. Christians know you don't have the tomb of Jesus or the ossuary because there were no bones.

Because it's probably NOT his tomb. I'm waiting to see someone find a tomb that says "Here lies Jesus", but then below it says, "Never mind."

Jesus rose and went to heaven. Those bones could not be those of our Lord and Savior.
