Many on here say the phrase "It is not fair" which really has become a bother...because you are comparing God with man, and that is where you go wrong...
With God all things are fair. He is God! He created us, and made us for a reason, to love and worship Him! His justice is right, and He is Holy and Righteous. Just as we here on earth have a "justice system" so does God. Would a judge here on earth let you go free from your crime because you said you were sorry? NO! You would have to pay your fine, serve your time....But Jesus stepped in, and took our punishment upon Himself! And when you believe and repent of sin, you are set free from hell, given eternal life. So God has given us a free gift through Jesus Christ--and He did not have to! That is love. We all deserve punishment for our sin because everyone has sinned against God (Romans 3:23) But God's love is so awesome He died on the cross and rose again (Romans 5:8-9) So we who believe would be washed clean, given heaven with Him!

By God's standards we have all sinned against Him, will you be guilty on judgment day? I hope not!
Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:10
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

So what God does is right, because there is no sin in Him- who are we to question Him? His ways are not our ways, nor His thoughts our thoughts as Isaiah says--We owe HIM ALL THE GLORY! I give him praise and honor and gratitude for what He has done for me. What a good and mighty God we have!

I agree: We're all sinners and He had the right to send everyone of us to Hell. But by His mercy and Grace, if will repent for our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, then we will have everlasting life.

"He made us to love Him and worship Him"? You make God sound narcissistic and needy. And, I DON'T compare God to man. I think God is probably so far beyond anything we can even realize that it's pointless to wonder about Him/Her/Them. And those books you put so much faith into were written by MAN!!! Do YOU not get that? They were written to give people something to believe in, to make us feel like we're not alone, that there's a grander scheme of things than we're really aware of. And even IF those books were written by God, they were still translated by MAN, so chances are, those books have been translated wrong and re-translated wrong again and again, so chances are those people who believe in what those books have to say are seeing things from the point of view of a human being.

And, so what if God's Justice is perfect? That's not of any consolation to someone... oh, let's say, someone who's only son was murdered by some psychotic individual, this person's son was killed randomly, and the killer was never caught and brought to justice by human standards. Does that SEEM perfect to you?

The Jack The Ripper killings... no one was ever convicted on the killings... yeah, real perfect there...

And The Zodiac Killer... another group of killings where no one was caught... another perfect example of God's Justice...

The fact is, even if God's Justice is perfect, our minds are not. We're given to Wrath, just as God was in the Beginning (so, God can be Wrathful, but we can't?). We're given to Lust, Hatred, Agony, Blasphemy.... And your judgement of the people who ask questions in this board are just as flawed as you are, for passing said judgement upon them. Don't go thinking you're THAT special. You're just as human as the rest of us lady, so get over yourself!

you know, I didn't even bother reading all of the **** you wrote. I'm sorry, I feel like I am in Hell. I think if there was a God, he would not put us in so much misery. He would help. Or if there truly is a God, He must be up there laughing at us, while he tortures us down here.

Sounds like u are sick of the whiney people who complain about how the world sucks when really they should keep those complants to themselves like I do. B/c the world really is unfair and it does suck. But I keep this to myself so I don't disturb anyone and they can keep there heads in the clouds thinking how wonderful the world is.

This idea that you are calling justice sounds a lot more like vengeance or revenge that it sounds like justice.

Do you really see God as being so tiny and insecure the He sees the need to get even with us for our mistakes

Love and blessings Don

I don't consider the old testament God to be 'good', in light of the following. And this is the same 'god' that Jesus is supposed to be one and the same with.

I also don't understand what your question is.

What yo don't understand, and is the root cause for all this confusion, is that there is no God, an dno God's Justice. It doesn't make sense to most people because it nakes no sense, does not exist, and cannot exist.

Do you understand that you're wasting many precious hours of your life arguing the fine points of dogma about something that doesn't even exist?

Don't you think you could leave all the superstitious myth behind...join the rest of us in the 21st century and leave the ignorance of the 1st century back there where it belongs?

There is no evidence of god. Period. Making your arguments about what "he" is or does meaningless.

Peace.

I DO!! It is the most wonderful feeling to have all your sins washed away by the blood of Jesus. I am a "baby christian" and there are so many things to learn and enjoy about living in Christ!! You people ought to go to church and see what it's all about!

So by your reasoning, murderers, child molesters, and rapists can all go to heaven if they repent. But if I live a good, decent life and never repent, I'm going straight to hell. Sounds like a great God to me.
