It's a joke, but its sole aim is, and always has been, to keep Intelligent Design out of schools. I think that all theories should be taught. Praise the Lord!

The Flying Spaghetti Monster is NOT a joke!!
If the Flying Spaghetti Monster is a joke, then so is Shiva, Mohammed and Jesus Christ...
Everyone needs something to believe in...I believe I'll have another plate of that DNA-like Spaghetti!
All praise to the Pastafarian!!!

Haha, by pitting Jesus against the Flying Spaggetti Monster you just demonstrated the redicilousness of Jesus.
There is no fundamental difference between the FSM and religion X.
Both 'believers' claim they're right and all the others are wrong.
Both claim their god created the world.
Neither offer any proof that their god actually exists, except for claims that they know for sure and there's a holy scripture which says so.

people dont need anything, especially saving. I was a christian for 25 years, seven denominations, and then i realized that something wasnt right, with the religion/relationship of christianity(for you deniers out there that like to call it a F****** relationship) the people were the cruelest most insincere people ive ever met. then i took a good look at myself, i couldnt recognize the monster in the mirror, i had become a fundamentalist christian terrorist. But then i remebered there was a light in the darkest of places, i picked up the te of piglet once more and remebered that i didnt belong in christianity, the Creator wanted me to be a Taoist instead! ever since then i never looked back, but ill never forget the monster in the mirror, me as a christian.

FSM is a parable to other religions.
You said " don't people know they need Jesus? "
No. Nobody KNOW's they need Jesus or any God(s). They may have FAITH that they need such things , but that is not Knowledge.
You can have Faith or Believe that your car will get you to work today.
You can not Know if your car will get you to work today until after it has gotten you there.

The Flying spaghetti monster is an allegory. It shows us how all religion works, and how much sense it makes.

Christians have not yet evolved to awareness of the FSM. Just wait. When they are hungry enough for the fullness of salvation, they will come.

I don't need Jesus- really.
I'm happy, sucessful, have tons of friends, and lead a great life.
And FSM is as much a joke as the Invisable Pink Unicorn (bless her hooves), Allah, or Jesus.
