I want 100% pure water or as close as we can get.

How do we get it?

I am concerned about "ACID RAIN"(and other problems) in my area and perhaps rain may not be the cleanest.

The systems on the market do not seem to be ones that "do it all", I mean maybe if I put a series of them together I coudl do something, but I am not an engineer or a chemist or what have you and so I do not know exactly what to do.

I would theorize that some "electric shocking" type device could do the trick in a simple fashion but I do not know if that is accurate.(either by pulling out the water or by separating off various pollutants)

Any large home improvement stores will have a wide variety of water filters. Usually each filter has a choice of replaceable cartridges, some cheaper, some more expensive which remove more impurities. Examples.

There are more elaborate systems like reverse osmosis, but they're very expensive.

You will need a filter to remove some of the gases and particles. Filters are a dime a dozen Then to remove more of the impurities you can distill it and buy equipment to do that . Then to make it pure, you will need to go through dionization which is a very expensive operation. The first two are easy -- here's dionization --
