Your A = C logic trips up in John 1:18.
"No man has seen God at any time."
At ANY time.
You actually cheated when applying a capitol 'G' to the phrase "....the Word was God."
Most Bibles use a small 'g'.
Why?
Because the word 'God' simply means 'mighty one.'
Jesus is a mighty one, but he is not the ALLmighty one.
Why?
Because mankind saw him, but no man has seen GOD at any time.

Someone needs a little "hooked on phonics".

Should we start a collection or something? Maybe Y!A could offer it so people could post understandable questions. Cause honestly, all I see is a bunch of sentence fragments followed by "amen".

AMEN!!!! JESUS IS GOD! You got it brother!
Also Revelation 1:7 says "I am the Alpha and Omega, beginning and the end" --Only God is the beginning and the end, and so is Christ! They are one in the same as John 10 says....
Praise the Lord!

You are correct, but don't overlook that it says the Word was with God. The Word 'Jesus - who came and dwelt among us' was with God the Father before anything was ever created.

Lemme see, just because something is written in an old book it HAS to be true -- is that what you're getting at?

I've got an old book right here: Homer's Odyssey. It says there's a female monster named Medusa, whose hair is snakes, and if you look at her you'll turn to stone. Hey, it's in an ancient book (older than the bible), so it must be true, right? Despite there being no evidence of any kind for what it asserts? Just like your "word" quote? My story has just as much evidence behind it as yours does...

Not only is this not a question, but it is not even your own words. Is this the best that you can do? I see. You think that putting a question mark behind one of the words qualifies. I understand you.

John 1:
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

In the beginning was nothingness, followed by gasses compressing into a mass, pulsating and exploding. Next came millions of years of growth, mutations and finally, life.
