I had notice in the last few years, everything which is made in the USA is getting very sloppy and high price. Do you know anyone who actually puts pride in there work. If I had a business making products, it will not be made here in the US.

It's been a lot more than just a few years. America has moved from an industrial country to a service oriented country. Which has made us lazy. This is one is the many reasons why companies are moving to foreign countries. They work harder, for less money and are more appreciative.

It is very difficult to find anything made in the US. Many things will have on the package that the company is based in the US but the product will have made somewhere else on it.
The reason products are so sloppy is because the manufacturer is not worried about the quality or the product lasting, he is concerned solely with how cheap he can make the product. This is true regardless of where it is made.

You know I have found that many products from everywhere are getting "sloppy". Just about every time I buy something from the store there is something wrong with it, no matter where it comes from. My guess is the computer integrated manufacturing is making it too easy to overlook real craftsmanship, because there are no real craftsmen left out there. I bought a Sony t.v. and the speakers were damaged, a Magnavox DVD player and it was DOA. It seems to be everywhere now. So I really don't think you can pin it on just American products. I think we've lost pride in our work on a worldwide basis.
