Until we see the PowerPoint presentation the teacher showed his students, I'm afraid none of us will understand the connection. All I could offer would be a guess.

The Nazis were not anti-christian...Hilter was highly religious and the SS uniforms had "Go with god" on their belt buckles (in German). Every leader bent on genocide throughout history has been religious.
