I met a guy on the internet, he sound very interesting and I am curious to meet him, but i am a bit hesitant. I have a friend who actually married a guy who she met via the net and their marriage is fine. ......but I need some advice..

I met my wife from the internet also. If you do decide to meet this guy I would suggest you bring another friend, and see if her can do the same. This way you know youre somewhat safe. Also somewhere public. Goodluck hope hes not a creep.

I'm an experienced internet dater haha. Send messages back and forth getting to know eachother. Ask questions that are important to you. Ask about his hobbies, interests, likes and dislikes, job, family life, where he likes to hang out.
If you are comfortable exchange phone numbers and see if there is chemistry on the phone. If you decide to meet, make sure you meet at a public place and drive seperately.

Well, I had one HORRIBLE experience and one marriage. The HORRIBLE experience wasn't that bad. I just don't like bipolar personalities no matter how intelligent they are. The marriage starts the 6th year and I'm old enough I thought I'd never wed. It never would have happened without the net and jet travel. Sad, they took away the Romance chat rooms on Yahoo. I wouldn't pay money for net romance.

first of all, always meet in a public place, and make sure some one is near you that you can call on in case you need to slip away to the ladies room and disappear... but 95% are great to meet and some men are sincere as they seemed to be before..
i have done it before, and no one ever walked out of the restaurant yet, or left me sitting and wondering..
