I have tendonitis and plantar fasciaitus (heel pain) and arthritis in my feet and spine and hip - I think the worst is in feet coz you cannot avoid walking and I have been told today that I will just have to put up with it. 24/7. How come, in this day and age does anybody have to be in so much pain? Paracetomol wont work. Allergic to aspirin and ibuprofen. Codeine just knocks me out and i can not function. Wot's left? I try to remain cheerful, but sometimes I feel like a moaning minnie and it is restricting my life quite severely.

you may want to consider surgery. there are a lot of pain meds out there you may want to check with another doc too. i know that there are not many anti inflammatory choices but you should keep looking for answers to this with anyone in hearing distance something like prcocet should help. good luck

If your foot's tendons are creating heel spurs, a cortisone shot in the heel will help immensely. It has to be directly on the affected area. The fascitis is simply inflammation of the tendons. Stretching (properly and often) WILL alleviate some of the pressure and a good anti-inflammatory medicine will do the rest. Stay away from pain pills and work on the feet physically. Stretching and excercise will be difficult at first but WILL fix some of the problem. Depends on how bad you want it to ease up. Get up and strecth them out or just take a pill and say it doesn't work.

You do NOT have to live with this pain. For the tendonitis get therapy for it, do the exercises they recommend at home and ice the area for 20 minutes 3 times a day. For the plantar fasciaitus you need to go to a good shoe store and get fitted for a good pair of shoes that will help with this. They will cost more than regular shoes but your feet will thank you. If this doesn't work then consider checking into surgery for this. Not sure if this is an option for your case or not. As for the arthritis...........try pain relieving rub with either tea tree oil in it or capsaicin based pain relieve cream. You also should see a doc who specializes in pain management.

You should restrict your activity for a period of a week or more. Fasciatus is an inflammation of the tissue in that area. Walking on it will just cause it to remain as inflammed or it could also worsen.
I would recommend consulting a different podiatrist. Get a second opinion.
Most doctors will give you an excuse for work for 2 weeks for PF and can prescribe a decent anti-inflammatory like Toradol.
Hope this resolves. There are surgical interventions for heel spurs if this is the cause.

I'm not an advocate of drugs but what about marijuana? Could you get medical marijuana?
