I've heard that the Catholics will have special privileges in heaven, simply because they are more devout. Yet I would like total equality in heaven, if possible. Can I get any info on that?

There is no heaven as described by any major religion.

Catholics per se won't have any special privileges in heaven, but as Catholics have many more "tools" available to aid their spiritual development, they might be able to merit greater eternal rewards.

But we can be sure that God's reward will be fair and appropriate to each of us, though not equal, at least in the way we understand equality, here on earth.

God has always preferred a heirarchical system, with different levels of heaven, and different choirs of angels, cherubim, seraphim, etc., high priest(s) and lower priests, all nicely organized, according to their power, authority, and merit.

The best explanation of God's reward system is everyone receiving a "full measure" while each one's personal and individual "capacity" might vary, according to their own spiritual development and merit.

Only Catholics think Catholics will have special privileges, being a catholic doesn't automatically make you worthy of heaven, your good actions do. I mean, mormons actually think the same thing, as do Muslims, but hey, that is all to be discovered as we go.

But my opinion, whether we realize it or not, we are all connected. All part of a wonderful web of life, interlocked in all possibilities, as we all are born and we all die. And when you are a faithful, good person, you are part of heaven, and BELONG there. I don't think labels are as important in heaven, well I have a feeling anyway. I envision heaven as an "ocean" of bliss that we all get to join once we are worthy. We shall see!:o]

No, the only one who will be the perfect one will be God. I just am focusing on getting there, I could careless of being of any importance when I am there. I just want to spend eternity with Him. And for what you said about the Catholics being more devout, God look's at the heart not how much more you can do than the next person. We are all special to Him in different ways!

No. Standing in heaven will vary according to spiritual preparedness on earth. Catholics like to think they are privileged, but I know a lot of Catholics that are bound for hell because they treat Jesus like a fourth class citizen.

I have been a Catholic for 49 years and I have never heard anything about Catholics getting special privledges in Heaven. This is another slander that anti-Catholic bigots have come up with.

Well it is said that we are to store up our treasures in heaven and that means the more decisions you make not to sin rather than to sin and other things. I do not believe that we will all be equal. Living a Christ-like existance and examples to others... being spiritually mature believer (which comes from studying the bible) helps aid in the process of blessings received in heaven the 40 gifts it talks about in the bible for the mature believer. But I do think every one of us will be happy!

If there is inequality even in heaven, what's the factor of being it any different than existence in the international. you would be caught there for eternity as a soul of truk driving force! a minimum of in the international you could substitute that . there is an risk for progression notwithstanding if tiny. A truck driving force could be as superb person as mom Teresa on a similar time as a truck driving force and would have carried out genuine good artwork. what's the parameter of being greatness or good or greater advantageous? For some mom Teresa became a saint. Others do no longer in basic terms like the way she worked. She denied even soreness killers to the sufferers yet she never pronounced no to drugs while it got here her turn to get drugs. Does the kind of converts one have been given makes one super? Pioint is that we are compairing people in accordance to our very own expertise and ideology. God would have his very own standards. attempt to be good in accordance on your person judgement and could be god likes your way of doing issues. Motivation differs for all people.

No, that is not true about Catholics. Most of them do not even understand true salvation and are not serving God in their hearts. There will however be different thrones and kingdoms in heaven similar to earth, but God will determine who he will put in leadership in heaven based on their works in this life for Him.

No, being catholic doesnt mean you will be higher in heaven. People get rewards in heaven according to their works on earth.
