This is interprative. There are games and there is The Game. My opinion is; games get me nowhere. I am not good at them so I don't play them and I am turned off if I date someone who starts to play them. I will be out the door before the dice stop rolling. Here, I am talking about don't call her for 3 days b/c she didn't call me yesterday. Ignore her. Whatever the case may be. These only perpetuate themselves and it turns into a contest of seeing if the other person can break the will of the game player and get them to commit. I figure, if I like you but you aren't interested, let me know when you are and I'll let you know if I'm free.

As for The Game, it's a must. This is like the compatibility test we're all preprogrammed with. These are tests, conscious or subconscious, that we plot to see what a person's reaction is. This is the getting to know you stuff and we do so by protecting ourselves, hiding ourselves, as much as we can during this process.

Games end with more games. The Game ends with a solid relationship.

I never played dating games personally. I am/was always very honest with women. I'd ask questions and say things most people wouldn't and if i did not at least get an honest answer (not hard to tell the difference) then i'd end it on the spot. I refused to waste my time with things like that, my time is too valuable to do that. No training, no games... when it all comes down to it, a relationship boils down to honesty and trust. Without them, it cannot work. Find someone who is honest with you, and you trust. Keep in mind that no one is perfect.

Perhaps you should change where you look for your dating partners? I recommend the below website to my clients when they come to me for dating advice.

When a person pays a dating site to help them find a viable and reliable dating partner, the games are not tolerated! In fact, you will find more genuine and trustworthy people looking for a long term relationship...

Put your profile in today, take advantage of their free trial offer, and see the quality for yourself! They know that once you have seen the difference in the people that you find and meet on their site, that you will stay until you find THE one.

Best of luck to you if you stick to the divining-rod methodology of hunting for the right person for you... you'll need it!

I think dating games can be fun. For me, it is part of the chase. But it does not stop when you "get" the girl. It goes on even in a committed, long-medium term relationship.

playing games is immature and only leads to hurt, yours or theirs. The only way to a good relationship is honesty.

I beleve that dating games are for partners that are genuinely interested in playing them... If a partner is unwilling... then it doesn't matter.
