If your puppy is successfully eliminating on the potty pads, then it may work for you each day to move the potty pads a little closer and closer to the front door (or whatever door you want her to go out of). You should go slow in case your pup gets confused about why its potty pads aren't in the same place they used to be. Eventually you can put the pad right in front of the door or near it, and your pup will learn that every time it needs to potty, it must go to the door. When you notice that your puppy is going to the door every time to eliminate, and not having accidents anywhere else, then you can try to move the pad outside step by step until your baby knows where it must go to potty outside. The key to preventing accidents here is to slowly move the pad closer to the door. If you move too far too fast, your puppy may not realize what you're trying to do, and may eliminate where the pad used to be or in a different place entirely. It will take some time, but good luck!

I recognize only a few individuals that experience had so much success utilising peepads within the residence. Dogs have issues know-how the idea of peeing on a pad, however now not in your carpet, and constantly it is a puppy proprietor so as to have burglary issues for the lifetime of the puppy. Dogs are "den" animals, and also you must instruct your puppy that the complete residence is a "den" and hence off limits to pee and champagne. You can not do that should you permit him to make use of newspapers or pee pads, however then yell whilst he makes use of the carpet and even the ground. Take the further time to preserve your eye on him to preclude injuries within the residence and it's going to repay with a reliably housebroken puppy that you'll properly take into anyones house with out demanding approximately injuries. Getting up as soon as a night time for per week or 2 will not hurt you and should you use a crate you quite often would possibly not ought to rise up as soon as the dog is a minimum of 10 weeks historical (until it is a teacup style)

Take your puppy outside to the spot you want it to use shortly after feeding & wait patiently until it completes it's task then lavish praise on it for a job well done. Then you'll need to repeat this about every 2 hrs until the next feeding then start the process over again. It will also help to crate your puppy for these 2 hr intervals - dogs don't like to foul their nest! Crate training isn't cruel @ all (dogs are denning animals, after all!) & is an essential tool for potty training - just don't use a crate for disciplinary purposes - it just confuses the dog.

Well, it's best to train puppy for outdoors right away, but if you have her on training pads then I would put one outside and congratulate her more for using the one outside.

Slowly keep moving the puppy pads closer to the door. Once you're at the door, you can put the puppy pad outside. When she goes outside, praise her!

Put the potty pad outside and gradually make it smaller until there is none left, you could also try to move its poop outside and let the dog see it so that it will know where to go.

just be consistent. when the puppy wakes up, take her out, when the puppy eats, take her out. when we aren't home, our dog goes in a crate/kennel. she won't potty where she sleeps, so this helps. my mother trained her dog with a puppy pad and now she goes on rugs and towels because it feels the same to her, good luck :)
