The only reason the church forbid them to marry in the first place was so that all their property would revert back to the church when they died.

Marriage didn't stop anyone else from committing acts of pedophilia, why would it make a difference with priests? The largest single group of child molestors are married men. Besides, the few priests who have been involved with adolescent boys are homosexuals, not true pedophiles, so they wouldn't marry a woman even if allowed to. And, who told you that priests can now marry??

They can't not yet. Someday they will. I saw a married man who still wanted to help people being a Priest on television. He was dedcated to his wife.
Who would make the decision well the Cardnols up there in Rome then last the Pope who gets the last decision.
I suggest u start to watch the real news. Not whatever it is you've been watching or reading.

No one said priests can marry. If they did, it wouldn't stop activities like that. Married people who aren't priests do bad things too, and at the same rate per population.

Nope - it was because they couldn't get any new priests, since gays have alternatives these days. BTW, it hasn't helped - our town's married Catholic priest is in now jail for being a drunk, child-abusing wife beater... nice, huh?

One does not. enable them to maintain pushing until the state isn't in touch in marriage in any respect. Why might desire to the state be in touch in a particularly non secular and cultural ceremony besides? If a church desires to define faith as being between a guy and a woman, why might desire to the state have any say in that? So I say permit human beings get JOPs for their pets and marry their canines and cats jointly if it makes them sense extra useful. this is one step closer to its dying as a political venture, and this is one much less non-venture human beings can use to get elected with out certainly doing something for the yankee human beings.
