Consistent mutual respect, independence in every day life, including outside hobbies and friends. (meaning some activities that you enjoy together and some that both of you enjoy separately).
Also, absolutely no jealousy. Complete trust. And setting time aside for dates, just like you have when you start dating.

staying in love takes constant work thats why when people who marry young and they have a whole bunch and cant find time to keep up the relationship they divorce but in order to stay in love the persons have to try and experience new things together and i guess making love is a good why to keep the flame alive they have to communicate with each other and care for one another thats y i dont believe in long distance relationships

What keeps a relationship working? One has to respect the other in all ways....One can not dominate the other. You need to have things in common to keep your relationship grounded. You don't have to be exactely alike ....otherwise it might be boring....but something in common....your belief system should be the same....other wise quarrels come up. One will try to dominate the other. There should be open communication between the two of you at all times.....You have to trust each other....& be honest at all times....& love each other.....You have to want to remain together.....not because it's a habit....but because you really love each other. You might look at him or her as your other half.

Simple... make sure that there is always an open line / mutual relation between 2 individuals. Communication is very important so that you will know what the other person is thinking in that way you will know how to handle the situation ....

trust, honesty, dedication,loyalty are a few things that come to mind in order to fall in love and stay in love. Relationships are hard work andYou have to work at it and want to keep that strong love in the relationship if it's going to stay, that goes for both people who're in the relationship.
