free2bfearless: My question (exactly) is: "Mormons: Why is there no evidence of ancient Jews in America when Europe is lousy with Roman ruins?"

You don't know how YHWH was pronouced because the Hebrews didn't use vowels. It may have been pronounced differently. There is no reason to think your method was the one used. It could have been YOHEWAH

There are literally thousands of ancient ruins scattered throughout the Americas. They are finding more and more every day. They have been using infrared satellite imagery in recent years and now the discoveries are multiplying exponentially. Just how much more evidence of ancient civilizations do you want?

And if you're looking for pure blood "Jews" in America - you won't find any. The Book of Mormon is quite clear about how there were quite a few different groups of people in the Americas, only a couple of which were from Israel. And that doesn't even take into account how many other groups were here before they arrived and arrived after they did that simply aren't mentioned in the BoM. All those groups had literally thousands of years to intermingle.

And as for all the various animals and minerals "not existing in America", that's just baloney. There are plenty of all the different items scattered all across the Americas. Science, limited as it is when it comes to ancient American archeology, has confirmed many of the BoM claims, even contradicting earlier scientific "rebuttals" of BoM claims. There is not one single claim in the BoM that science has successfully refuted. And there won't be.

no longer one single scientist or pupil exterior the LDS church thinks there is any threat that the background of the Americas is what's defined in the e book of Mormon. The 'evidence' that Mormons cite, like the white god, are shown frauds. That grow to be a narrative that did no longer look until eventually nicely after Columbus's time. White people made it up, think of that. The Jewish civilization defined in the e book of Mormon existed for with regard to the comparable time in the comparable era because of the fact the Roman Empire and had approximately as many people. there are thousands of artifacts of the Roman Empire, yet no longer one from the e book of Mormon. think of that.

Maybe for the same reason that there is no archaeological evidence of 2 million Jews wandering around the Sinai desert for 40 years. They must be incredibly tidy people!

History does not know all nor speak all, remember that important fact.

I am Native Cherokee. I grew up as a basic white guy, in white town, lived white life, etc. Done it all and to see me, besides my facial structure, you wouldn't guess me as an Indian.

Now saying that, as I went through my family tree, deep deep into the Indian side, I did find roots to Jews...from Indians mind you.

And here is a MIND BLOWER....still trying to grasp this one myself and I've known it for weeks now.

Hebrew name of G_D is YHWH, YAHWEH. That is G_D's true name. God, Lord, Elohim, Allah are just titles that say God.

Now the Cherokee know G_D as YIHOWA. When you sound each of these out in "english" they are similar but not near that close. But sound them out the proper way...and they are the same word. (YHWH, YAHWEH - Yodh-Heh-Waw-Heh)

HOW did Native Indians know G_D's real name.....BEFORE any white man came to USA? Its a question I have for the Elders in a few weeks when I visit the Reservation.

There IS evidence of ancient Jews in America. Not a lot, but it's there. If you look for it. Which you obviously don't even WANT to do.

True True

There is not one shred of evidence proving one thing in the book of mormon. You'd think an entire civilization of people would have left behind something - a pot, a knife, etc. Even the animals mentioned in the book could not have lived in central america during this time - zebras, elephants just to name a couple. Iron coins? there is no iron to mine in this region. The book is an enromous fake. Even if you take religion out of the equation, nonreligious scientists will agree that there is nothing true about it. Scientists will agree that even the Bible has been proven as a historical record.

That's an easy one- there were no people descended from any of the races depicted in the Abrahamic religions here until they came here from Europe.

I don't know about ancient Jews(tribe of Judah) in America...but there is tons of evidence about the tribe of Joseph.

What is your question exactly?

Really if a story inspires you and captures your imagination, it would not be difficult to make believers out of the gullible and naive.
