Sounds like the works program to me.

I hate the works program.
It really shucks.

I make requests, He either answers or not.
Within myself I make a determination about something and go on from there.
If I have decided that you are a no goodnick, I have determined that said it and that is the way it is and keep on going.
I have a feeling that the question pertains to you cleaning up your life.
Something in it that you don't like.
Terrible trap to get into.
No peace in that.

A great book in relation to this is Joyce Meyer's "Battlefield of the Mind".

In 2 Corinthians chapter 10 verse 5 its says to take every thought captive and bring it to the obedience of Christ.

We all struggle with things in our Christian walk.....
Total surrender is tough, but do-able.

Always remember that God has something better for us.
