When a Christian asks a question, why do they all jump on that person like thugs and say they are stupid? My fav is when a Christian asks a question, then all the answers are either insults or bizarre definitions of evolution....as if they all believe that anyone who really understands evolution will immediately pray to their god charles darwin. Has anyone else realized that these people are often living on the margins of society? Their experts in the field are junior high biology teachers who probably got their BA from the local crap college and the rest of them are low-income nobodies that love the ego-trip that being an atheist affords them. Personally, I laugh knowing that each of them have dreams of being "the one" that destroys religion throughout the world. They are the fringe elements of America and cling to atheism because it makes them think they are smarter than the rest of us and that they are really someone important who's life means something. God bless 'em.

realize most of those you speak of are 23 and under, un-employed, live on Yahoo and the web, play with 360 pages and hold blog and chat events so they can pick their daily icon images and topics to pick on.

least a homeless person has more important things to do in their life.

and its clear they dont' follow what they preach. for if they did, they wouldn't be here in the first place, cause a TRUE atheist cares not to be around that is in religion, around any building that is religion, let alone any chat, blog or site that is religion. the fact they are here, day after day, shows they lie.

just as the bible says....just look at the fruit one produces and the truth will be told. just look at the fruit they yield.

BUT....there are decent atheists out there, I've had good questions/answers between them. The kids is what destroys it all.

1. Some atheists are bitter because they are tired of being insulted by Christians. But more importantly, they are tired of Christians trying to take over the country and water-down our system of education even further. Most of us are merely animated in our discussions, however. Freedom of religion and separation of church and state is an important issue to us (and all non-Christians), so naturally we will argue vehemently against anyone who threatens these rights.

2. Some Christians are equally as obnoxious, jumping on non-Christians like thugs backed up by an all-powerful thug god. For example, you come across as fairly bitter yourself. Your disrespect towards people of other beliefs and your insulting, misinformed views on evolutionary scientists reveal the bitterness of which you accuse others truly lies in your own heart.

3. According to a 1987 Gallup poll (see link below), only 700 of the 480,000 life and earth science professionals in the United States give creation science any credence. That's less than 1%. Scientists who support evolution are hardly on the "fringe elements of society."

Laugh all you want. the rest of us know you're in denial about the state of modern science, the political climate in this country, and the behavior of some of your fellow Christians as well. You only see what you want to see, and that through a hardened heart.

Talk about being bitter...

Um. A great deal of the silly antievolution rants here are answered by people who aren't bitter OR atheists.

The fringe in America ARE the antisecularists, the people like Tim McVeigh who bomb builidings because they think that prayer in schools needs to be mandated or the mere existance of evolution is a threat to their faith.

Those people are little tiny gnats that sometimes bite, but are really not a majority byt a longshot.

Wow, pot calling the kettle black much? You're the one insulting us. Here are a few responses, in the tone you use:

1) We are smarter than you because we're right and you're wrong. It makes us feel good because we know we are right.

2) It will not be one person that dismantles religion in the world, and it's not even necessarily a good thing. The world does need to be slowly and carefully weaned from religion, so that we can make real progress instead of regress.

3) We are not living on the fringes of society, we are not nobodies, we are not junior high teachers. On the contrary, the greatest minds of our time and years past are and have been atheists.

4) We're not bitter, we just don't tolerate ignorance or blind faith.

I am a Christian so please take my answer in that context. I disagree with you about why atheists seem to be so bitter. I think most of them simply do not know where life is heading because they have not been yet called by God and because of that fact, they prefer to badmouth anyone who has found something worth living for. It is in my opinion a form of envy (even though they think we are stupid because we can not prove things).

Yes, some of them may be on the fringe of our society but from their language skills and honest although misled statements, I can tell that many are highly educated as well. Sometimes we can learn to much intellectually but learn to little spiritually. I think this is the case for most of those intellectual types. God wants us to have a balance. The only atheist types I have a problem with are those that do not give authentic and thoughtful answers but instead give disrespectful or sarcastic ones based on exactly what you said...a desire to think they are smarter than the rest of us.

Please do keep in mind though that Christ loves them just as much as He loves us and that it is our calling to show love and respect to them just as He would.

And yes indeed, may God bless them by opening the eyes of their hearts.

As usual, you've added a large dose of fiction to your statement.

"Their experts in the field are junior high biology teachers". You're clearly unaware that about 90% of the members of the National Academy of Sciences are Atheist/Agnostic?

You don't seem to be too bright. You fabricate "facts", and you're obnoxiously opinionated. Is it any wonder that your posts get treated with derision?

I truly wish you were trying to be ironic when you complained about atheists being bitter:
"Their experts in the field are junior high biology teachers who probably got their BA from the local crap college and the rest of them are low-income nobodies..."
I truly pity you. Based on your questions, you are either uninformed or lying about the nature of evolution. You are what you claim to hate.

I am with you on this one. But when you get to know them, they are not that obnoxious in person. They are real people with real hopes and dreams for their life, kids and jobs and life like we have. You have to admit that we Christians are not very good example of Christ's love all the time either.

I have learned to tolerate cruel humor. Because when you care someone, you are willing to see through the differences. It is hard for us to see them playing with their eternal life, but we can always pray the prayer of Jesus " Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing". As I would like to let anyone heaven because I know that I would not make it without Jesus, that sin that they deny their Savior is the sin our just and righteous God cannot forgive. Sin against the Holy Spirit is unforgivalble sin because if we do mock that precious guide which is making it possible for us to understand God, we need to let God do the business the way He know it is the best. In meantime, we should love one another, and help each other out. : )

Seems to me that you are the bitter one who has a bizarre definition of evolution.

When you ask hateful dishonest bigoted questions such as "Why do atheists hate the scientific method?" What do you expect?

Maybe if you spent less time insulting people you wouldn't get insulted in return.
