I am right now in 11th std in India.
How and what should I prepare for SAT examinations, so that I can do professional courses abroad. (Preferably USA).
Tell me what books I should refer. How to study. Approx how many marks to clear SAT, and TOEFL to join good colleges abroad...

hhm go to collegeboard.com..and else u can study on your own too. its damn hard to clear out the test but you gotto rape your *** off for that. marks over 1400 is said to be good and u shud obtain to clear the SAT. In comparison with SAT, toefl aint a big deal. People who can clear SAT well can clear TOEFL with an ease. There are various books published every year and you can get it in american library too. You can get a CD of it too if you like. Try on the previous question banks and questions. Make your general knowledge sharp and yes make the basic things good too. Best Of Luck.

Not sure about TOEFL, but I would say you need at least 1000 on your SAT (out of 1600) to be considered at a competitive school in the U.S. If you get a copy of US News and World Report's Best Colleges issue (you can see some of it online or get it at a bookstore), it lists the average SAT scores (and TOEFL too I think) for almost every college in the country. Also, the SAT and TOEFL have websites that give you practice questions. There is a TOEFL practice test on www.ets.org (this is Educational Testing Service which administers many of the tests like the SAT, GRE, TOEFL and PRAXIS). Hope that helps. Good luck

Boy u must study ur head off to pass the exams too im also in 11th grade and in the us (delawear) Get some SAT books or if there ins't some in India(which i think there r some ) get ur school books and jst study,study ,study .i know its hard but you will make it .i'm also prepareing for mine so it looks like we are brids of the same feathers.lol .u should hit 2400or something above that i think no, i mean i know then u good to go.all the best bro!! if u have any probz u could e-mail it to me or IM it im.always there.peace out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

collegeboard.com and there are new editions every year of the SAT book that helps you study...theyre kinda expensive. i dont know anything about whatever "toefl' is...sorry.
the SAT isnt that bad-its long and tedious. i didnt study hardly at all and took it twice, and my LOWEST score was 1770...
